These scans require specific preparation.

1. Gallbladder and Upper Abdomen

• Nothing to eat 6 hours prior to your scan

2. Renal, Kidney, Bladder, Prostate, Lower Abdomen, Pelvis, Dating Scan

• Please arrive with a full bladder. Drink at least 3 - 4 glasses of water an hour prior to your appointment

3. ⁠Abdomen and Pelvis

• Nothing to eat 6 hours prior to your scan
• Please arrive with a full bladder. Drink at least 3 - 4 glasses of water an hour prior to your appointment

4. ⁠Other scan/examination areas

No preparation needed!
