I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction regarding an ultrasound I underwent at your clinic on 6th June. The report I received stated that I had two significantly enlarged lymph nodes, measuring approximately 50mm in diameter. Naturally, this finding was extremely alarming and caused me significant emotional distress. Based on this report, I promptly sought further medical advice from a specialist, which involved another ultrasound and consultation—costing me nearly $1000 in total. However, the specialist’s ultrasound revealed that the lymph nodes were not nearly as large as your report had indicated. The discrepancy between the two results was substantial. Furthermore, I noticed a marked difference in the clarity and resolution between your imaging equipment and the specialist’s. Their equipment provided a much more precise and reliable image. I believe this issue may have resulted from a combination of inaccurate measurement by the sonographer and limitations in the quality of your ultrasound machine. Had your clinic provided accurate results in the first place, I would not have endured unnecessary stress or incurred additional expenses. I am writing this not only to raise a complaint but also to warn other patients who may be considering getting their scans done at Lux. If patients are paying similar fees, they deserve the assurance of accurate diagnostics and modern equipment—not the risk of being misled by substandard imaging and imprecise evaluations.
